It’s a day to be creative and have fun making holiday items for the interior or exterior of your home! Make it a family and/or friends tradition.

This year my husband wanted to be creative with our exterior holiday decorations! The kiddos painted wooden holiday signs while my brilliant husband make two 8’ ft Nutcrackers! They are AMAZING! 🎶On the tenth day of Christmas - Home for the Holidays Edition, my favorite Realtors shared with me...a fun activity of learning the spirit of giving with your kiddos! We started this tradition last year and it is so much fun!

Here's the details we set for our family:

Each kiddo selects a name of one of the other kiddos. You select a day to go shopping together - we always go to Target! Our favorite place to shop together!

You set a dollar limit for the present(s) and you only have a limited time to shop (like 30 or 60 minutes).

When we get home each kiddo wraps the present(s) and places it under the tree.

Select a day when you will open the presents. It's so much fun!

The kiddos learn it is so much more fun to give than receive. They are always excited to see if the person will like their gift they got them.

Have fun and make any rules that suit your family!

🎶On the eleventh day of Christmas - Home for the Holiday Edition, my favorite Realtors shared with me…a FUN family game for the holidays - Saran Wrap gift game!

Have you ever played the Saran Wrap gift game? If not, you have to try it - so much FUN that you will make it a family tradition! I love playing games with family during the holidays! Please share the family games you play for the holidays in the comments below!

How do you play the Saran Wrap gift game?

1. Have party guests sit around a table (clear of any other items).

2. One person begins with the SaranWrap ball in front of them. The person immediately to their left has two dice.

3. On GO! the game starts. The person with the plastic wrap ball starts unrolling the plastic wrap at the same time the person to their left is rolling the dice, trying to get doubles.

4. Any prizes that fall out of the plastic ball while unrolling the wrap, the person gets to keep. (Make the first prize something they can see on the outer layer and make it good — like a dollar bill!)

5. Once the dice roller gets doubles, they yell, “DOUBLES!” They pass the dice to the person on their left and now get the plastic wrap ball and unwrap while the new dice roller tries to roll doubles.

6. Play continues until the last gift is unrolled in the middle of the ball (the last prize is usually the best gift!). The amount of time it takes to play will depend on how many people are playing the Christmas ball game (how big the group of people) and how big you make the plastic ball. If you make a giant ball of plastic wrap game, it will take longer!

You can make it a party or competition. This is a fun family tradition in our house! I'm not sure if my kiddos love making their gingerbread house or eating it!

Is this a family tradition for you?
